The Orbiter is an exploration ship but planned to operate with a capital ship within a range of 5000 km from its machine reconstruction, in a planet or moon orbit. It is based on instrument flight and makes it easy to carry out complicated routes. It was designed and used to be a complement to the usual explorer and nav chip buy and sell systems. From a point at the level of a belt, it can move along this belt for a given distance or a given angle of orbit, inside (between the planet or the moon and the belt) as outside (after the belt). As well as navigation in a belt, in particular to make jump points in areas. It is designed in a very symmetrical way to ensure excellent weight distribution and the most perfect precision possible. That's why he has 2 dataloggers when just 1 would have been enough. But during an unmarked trip over a distance of 5000km, the slightest shift can prove fatal (exceeding the distance and arriving in the belt, etc.). Its capacity is 7000 - 8000 km outside a belt and 6000 - 7000 km inside a belt (significant use of maneuvering thrusters). It is small, agile and responsive compared to interplanetary explorers. Its operation is based on the center of the orbit (center of the planet / moon), and from there all modes of operation are open. It uses trigonometry and 3D trigonometry to ensure the accuracy of its operation. During a lap of EOS, it proved to be particularly accurate with over distances of 4500km, an error of around 10km. Once the distance is reached, simply position yourself at 90° and calibrate the gyro then descend into the belt for the desired distance. Generally dodging asteroids, ... will cause you to deviate from your trajectory and make the search difficult for you. With the relative distance, you will have information on the distance traveled compared to your initial trajectory in real time. Searching for the area is therefore much simpler. As you will have understood, this ship is a complement to what is currently being done in terms of exploring. His goal is to travel a maximum of 5000km to make a navigation disk, to use his machine reconstruction of his capital ship and to move him to find your Orbiter. Although it was designed to be as accurate as possible, the precision of the reference points is essential. In this sense, a calibration "Grid" system is present on the ship in order to facilitate the alignment and accuracy of the reference point of the center of a planet or moon. Defensively this ship allows scouting of dangerous situations, and can be used to travel to key locations without being followed yourself. CenterSensePlus and CenterSenseMinus is your standard sensitivity, Adjust both to your preferred flying sensitivity. AimMax- and AimMin- is your Aim hotkey, Bind both to the same keybind, this will lower your sensitivity, Adjust MinSensePlus and MinSenseMinus to change Aim sensitivity. AimMax+ and AimMin+ is your Boost hotkey, Bind both to the same hotkey, this will raise your sensitivity, Adjust MaxSensePlus and MaxSenseMinus to change Boost sensitivity. Ship is set to both fly and aim at a smooth sensitivity (tune to your taste), Aim keybind lowers the limits for sniping, Boost keybind removes these limits allowing for faster pitch/yaw. 303561.531 kg in weight. 8 crates for for quick looting with salvage tool, 10 ore storage total with endo backpack. One small prop tanks for 1 million prop, 30 mins estimated flight time. One T2 fuel chamber + three T2 generators, gens idle at 50% for 2 hours 30 mins idle time. Basic script for current Fuel/Prop times. //Design// Unlike the Mk1 which was a modified Ghast, this has been built as its own ship, making use of the speed and convenience of the recycle tool to rend found salvage into mats. This also makes it double as a cheap starter 8 crate hand miner, for both belt and surface. Mainly made to act as a expendable salvage ship during cargo crisis events, you can fill the the ship and be in and out undetected very quickly. Deliberately low tech and cheap, utilising stealthy manoeuvre thrusters to avoid direct fights in PvP zones, at the cost of prop range. Plates are hidden inside the crate layer surrounding the critical components, to reduce lethality from hostile endos. Can mount a tripod on various points of the ship, but top speed takes a serious dip. Prop range can be increased with pocket fuel rigs (Prop tank + tank support + hardpoint + resource bridge)

A conscious decision has also been made to prioritize wet speed over range through the use of T3 thrusters, with the goal of reducing turnaround time and improving credit yields over time to offset the increased refuelling costs. Note that the ship lacks an avoidance system and is not optimized for unsafe zone operation, so fly carefully if you choose to do so. Thaccus' NavSuite will also be a feature, enabling autopilot back to your Origin of choice after choosing your 3 T10 asteroids. The ship also features a credit yield per load calculator that estimates the total income for each individual asteroid you have loaded up, based partially on Egomaniac's yield calculator found on his asteroid haulers. It takes time to do its job, but it gives you a good idea of how much credits you're bringing in per run, and coupled with the onboard timer can help you to better understand your earnings over time. Note: Buyers with non-English language settings may need to change the ore names on the chips to reflect their language for the yield calculator to work correctly.
