[Free] OSA Yith Mk3

The Yith is a 8 gun medium meta fighter seeing multiple changes over patches to Starbase. The Mk3 is an evolution to apply better counters to high end weapons. Comes in autocannon, laser and plasma variants. Final free ship to be released everyday leading up to Eos Con. //Download// https://github.com/Open-Source-Armada/OSA-Yith-Mk3 //Specs// 8 mounted weapons with a staggered fire trigger system. Shoot_1+ and Shoot_2+ are your triggers, bind these to your weapon hotkey (space by default). Rapidfire button switches between staggered fire (gun 2 will stagger behind gun 1 creating a machine gun effect) and alpha strike (both guns fire together). BoostMin and BoostMax act as a aim keybind without yolo (yolo is avoided where possible due to the 0.2 delay) these should ALWAYS be bound to the same key. Ship is set to both fly and aim at a smooth sensitivity (tune to your taste), Boost keybind removes these limits allowing for faster pitch/yaw. This can be altered to be the more common method of aiming, having higher sense as standard, and having the ships pitch/yaw slow down for aiming. (Swap the BoostMin/BoostMax Off values with its On values, remember to set it in the pitch/yaw lever fields too) Armoured using known methods of meta plating, including big plate health, voxel armour, segmented and layered plating and plasma/rail sacrifice plates. Its primarily plated using a char core with alloys across the front face of the ship, alloys are on the second side/rear armour. 132 m/s max speed using T2 thrusters. 2187055.25 kg in weight. Two small prop tanks for 2 million prop, 40 mins estimated flight time. 4 T1 fuel chamber, 8 T1 generators, 8 T1 enhancers, 1 hour 10 mins estimated fight time. Basic script for current Fuel/Prop times. Uses basic FCU, no reverse, uses 2 MFC/FCU groups, still isolates roll from main thruster pack for fast turning, no need to rebind roll keys. It is also the edge of affordability, past the 8 gun size, it holds less value to go cheap, as the cost of a large ship warrant a increase of higher tier components and late game weapons. The 8 gun is the default fleet ship in small to large battles, large enough that any size ship must respect its damage, but being deadly to anything smaller. It is paramount that you adopt a more aggressive combat style for larger ships, you are packing heat, your job is to hit the most vital targets on the field, and kill them. Evasion is way less important in a ship of size, reserved only for collisions and the largest of ships targeting you. Focus fire between two 8 gun ships is devastating, it very quickly begins to add up, well executed focus fire can bring down even the biggest of ships (like VIR's Borg Cube) My combat experience has shown me that running fighters in at least pairs is incredibly effective, focus firing on two ships that match is tricky, and can increase the survival rate of ships in fleet fights. The Yith is made for this, it has cheap autogun versions that can be built on mass, and more expensive versions will look exactly the same as the cheap, they wont be able to focus the plasma until its too late. Engage targets in a sideways orbit, this keeps your thickest voxel armour facing your target, and presents the slimmest dimensions to aim at.

This is a yolol that comes on a test bed to show how it works ( and how to use it properly ) It calculates your autonomy and displays it as : - time before you run out of rods - time before you run out of propellant - estimated distance you can fly with your speed / rods - estimated distance you can fly with your speed / propellant This allows you to precisely know how much time and distance you have left It can be used in a few different ways and give you an answer to the following questions : - do you have enough propellant / rods to fly home ? - what combination of plasma / thrusters gives you the best ratio for distance ? - is your exploration ship going to be able to reach that moon ? - do you have enough generation on your ships to mine / travel far ? - is adding more generators / propellant worth it ? Improved avoid system - you can set your speed, automatically brakes, evades, and then continues on your way. The standard so-loved approach that will take you to the asteroid with love and care The "Radar" system that will show on the screen in which direction the asteroid was seen and will give an audible notification Compass system, with a speedometer. It is targeted mainly at fledgeling companies building towards capital ships and also traders plying their wares in contested space, with the speed to keep pace with interceptors in a straight line and the advantage of a small frontal profile making asteroid collisions far more unlikely despite its sizable crate count. It comes with variable boost levels similar to the Holsteiner B, allowing sets of thrusters to be switched off for fuel efficiency. It can easily hit 150 m/s on boost level 2, but boost level 3 will be needed when loaded down. An extra set of modular thrusters will be designed at a later date that can be welded onto the sides to further increase wet speed, sacrificing the profile slightly. The ship is already overgenned as is and can support even more thrusters.

With the support of our amazing customers and their feedback, combined with 100's more hours of SSC, YOLOL and gameplay to draw upon, we have created an even better hauler than our last-gen 480! As a thank you, returning customers of the Dragon_Haul_480 will receive a 500,000 credit discount on all models. This craft was created with the intention of offering 3 models for any customer to find one to match their gameplay style, and deliver exceptional performance to boot The 3 models are P-retty, E-fficiency and M-ining/military)! M model purchases include the P Model, and the 2 E versions (E2 and E3) as a bonus! This is the M model, which is made for mining firstly, but can take a few punches too, allowing you to possibly escape a pirate ambush! We stripped off the vanity plates and buffed up the central cabin to be charodium plated all around, and the interior plates are charodium in critical areas, while the cabin remains bastium to save weight. Weighing about 4.5% less than the P model and with 24 more t3 engines, the M model has a slight speed increase as well. All models include the new 2.0 system of Asteroid avoidance, which has been updated to handle more edge cases, and fit onto one chip, whilst maintaining the same .6-.8 detection time of previous iterations! It will automatically cut throttle, hit the breaks and strafe away from the threat. Afterwards it will resume it's previous thrust, so you don't have to manually interact with it! But that is not all the protection you have! A 1 meter gapped and beam covered grille also defends your precious bits from the cold, hard, uncaring rocks, so anything your AA misses, it will catch for you! Also in the M model is a live editing YOLOL work station (upgraded from the P model) and crew accessible controls , allowing your crew (or yourself, the AA is pretty good) to walk around the ship and do more than stare at the clouds ahead. The bifurcating generator doors for the front and rear bay separate the exploding bits from the crew, reducing the chance of accidentally blowing yourself up with misclicks. Repairability was also considered, so engine clusters and the front rangefinders are all able to be accessed from behind the grille of the ship, and the cargolock is perfect for bringing spares along. All models include Cargolock frame to haul items and spare parts to where they need to go, all 3 crafting benches and ISAN navigation waypoint system, which can be operated from both the pilot seat and cabin. An avoid counting system lets you know how much frustration you have avoided while AFK, as well as blinking lights and sounds while the AA is avoiding if you are nearby so you can watch it go! A warp core is included by default, but can be stripped before printing your ship for additional space, which you can cram more ore crates, fuelrods, prop, a cargolock or more into! Blueprint Files will be delivered in a .rar file so you can choose which models and version to build, as well as a bundled user guide .txt so you can have common questions answered! This model's speeds as measured by transponder hide settings are as follows: --Dry speed is ~138 m/s with 910 meter stopping distance. --wet (14,000) speed is ~113 m/s with 650m stopping distance --wet (24,600) speed is ~96 m/s with 550m stopping distance 5893 km Rod range, 36 gen units, 12 chambers w/ t1 enhancers. 24 backup rods 1801 km propellent range with 11 large prop tanks. More can be added in the access halls/warpcore room if you need more range w/o a pit stop.

Top speed of 147 m/s, she'll get there quick without wasting fuel. This ship has an abundance of useful scripts including power management, turtle, cruise, ISAN with speed, Fuel Time, Approach, Material Scan (SO) with stacks displayed, and a no compromises Asteroid Collision Avoidance System (ACAS) that displays the location of the approaching asteroid relative to the ship and displays a running total of asteroids avoided. When the battery in chamber 1 falls below 1000/300,000 fuel, all sliding doors open to ensure access to engine bay for refueling. There are three endo stations on the bridge, the two secondary stations have some basic control of the ship, ready for customizing. This ship was built with accessibility and maintenance in mind. There is a rear Thrust Bay with easy access to all thrusters at the rear of the ship, a Gas Bay to access the 6 large propellant tanks, a Generator Maintenance bay with easy access to sockets and wiring and two side bays that currently contain basic and tool crafting tables, room for additional equipment. The Moon9 288 Miner is decked out with 12 tier 2 core chambers with 24 enhancers, 128 batteries and 12 racks containing spare fuel cells. 54,000,000 Hydrogen for long trips. Due to popular demand I've created a second version of this ship with the Fast Travel Gate Core installed. You'll receive both blueprints, the blueprint for Moon9 289 Miner F1 will have one additional ore crate (yes one, lol) and Fast Travel Core installed. The tradeoff is it costs 123,000 credits (1%) more to assemble + ores and it weighs 140,000 kg (1.75%) more, even if fast travel is a maybe, it's probably worth it.
