The Piercer is a 342 ore crate capacity mining ship with an automated rotating laser drill for mining operations.

I just built this ship and I have to say it is quite a lot of fun to operate. Makes mining asteroids near dangerously effortless, dangerous in that you might fall asleep due to it's extensive level of automation. Excellent scripting and design!

This ship is amazing! Just remember to slap a few heat sinks on before you use it. Very economical and lots of very useful yolo functions.

I upgraded to this from the Rigger. This ship is an absolute beast. Tons of storage. Rotating mining lasers make munching up t10s a breeze. Auto avoidance isn't perfect but even when an asteroid clips you the only repair you'll have to make is replacing a few bolts. Highly recommend this ship. Also the Hexxer if you are in need of a cheap asteroid hauler for quick cash. Egomaniac has the best builds!
