[Free] Haul Me Maybe

Faulty Designs

Hauler

Assembly Cost: 223,181 credits

I'd never tried CLFs and was not about to spend >500k just to experiment with them, so this is literally a one-night experiment in building a small, fast 'roid hauler. Even with a few rocks it'll still move >130m/s. Has an array of five rangefinders, four at the corners and one directly in the center, to help guide approach & capture. Also includes my [simple ISAN-based Odometer](https://github.com/faultstarbase/SimpleISANOdometer), because it's always fun to know how far you've gone. I genuinely didn't expect it to perform well but it has outperformed those expectations so considering that it might be helpful to others I decided to post it. Admittedly though it's not close to perfect & so offers the enterprising ship builder much room for improvement: for one, it does not have roll at the moment and I was way too lazy to bother tweaking it *ad infinitum* to enable it. Handles very well on all other axes, though! As the creator is incredibly lazy, the blueprint may be [downloaded immediately](https://faulty-industries.s3.us-west-1.amazonaws.com/haul_me_maybe.fbe) at no cost. For exactly the same reason, it is provided with absolutely no warranty or support. Instead, it's offered on a pay-what-you-believe-is-fair donation basis: the minimum is simply a request to send a message to the creator (`Fault` in-game or `Fault#9610` on Discord) if you end up printing & enjoying the ship. Live long & prosper.

[Free] Mk II Community Center

Faulty Designs

Other

Assembly Cost: 81,788 credits

A community center to improve your local Origin & show goodwill toward your fellow endos. Equipped with all crafting benches (two of the basic variant) & eight chairs, four of which are seated around the central meeting table. A [_two-storey_ variant](https://sb-creators.org/makers/Faulty%20Designs/ship/%5BFree%5D%20Two-storey%20Community%20Center%20%28Mk%20II%29) is now available as well, freely of course! New to this version are glare guards as first added by `Railang#5753` & a rangefinder-based light switch that is accessible to all endos, not just those granted "operator" access to the ship. Also, while the typo joke was fun it was also quite confusing to new players, so I did in fact go ahead and fix it in this version. [The original _Mk I_ variant](https://sb-creators.org/makers/Faulty%20Designs/ship/%5BFree%5D%20%22Commnity%22%20%28Community%29%20Center), complete with typo, will always remain available! Flies incredibly slowly & the cockpit area is basic and terrible, but it gets the job done. Equipped with excessive battery capacity to keep the lights on. As the creator is incredibly lazy, the blueprint may be [downloaded immediately](https://faulty-industries.s3.us-west-1.amazonaws.com/community_center_mk2.fbe) at no cost. Huge thanks to: * `Railang#5753` for adding the light guards and YOLOL "message" panel & providing valuable feedback * `Oloneus#5521` for donating to enable continued development, helping maintain the Origin 23 center, providing a great energy-management script & valuable feedback * `Lovel#0509` for upgrading the Origin 23 benches & providing tons of valuable feedback * Everyone who has expressed appreciation for the center, you warm my Endo "heart"! Live long & prosper.

[Free] Two-storey Community Center (Mk II)

Assembly Cost: 118,390 credits

A _two-storey_ community center to improve your local Origin & show goodwill toward your fellow endos. Equipped with all crafting benches (two of the basic variant) & eight chairs, four of which are seated around the central meeting table. This two-storey version adds large display signs on the side as well as convivence ramps to get to the second level. The addition of these ramps necessitated changing the thruster layout so this variant uses Tier 3 maneuver thrusters, which although there are less than the single-storey variant, end up costing more to construct. The single-storey variant is also available freely [here](https://sb-creators.org/makers/Faulty%20Designs/ship/%5BFree%5D%20Mk%20II%20Community%20Center/). Even with those T3 thrusters this flies _even more slowly_ than the single-storey version & the cockpit area remains basic and terrible, but it gets the job done. Equipped with excessive battery capacity to keep the lights on. As the creator is incredibly lazy, the blueprint may be [downloaded immediately](https://faulty-industries.s3.us-west-1.amazonaws.com/community_center-mk2_two-storey.fbe) at no cost. For exactly the same reason, it is provided with absolutely no warranty or support. [Free] "Commnity" (Community) Center

Faulty Designs

Other

Assembly Cost: 83,034 credits

A _community_ center to improve your local Origin & show goodwill toward your fellow endos. Equipped with all crafting benches (two of the basic variant) & eight chairs, four of which are seated around the central meeting table. Comes complete with typo in the sign! (**Huge** thanks to NewoNZ#0931 & Railang#5753 for noticing that!) As I'm extremely lazy & had already taken the screenshots, uploaded the BP, printed the example, not to mention leaned into the joke: fixing it is left as an exercise to the printer. Or leave as-is for added character, charm & to be in on the joke. Flies incredibly slowly & the cockpit area is basic and terrible, but it gets the job done. Equipped with excessive battery capacity to keep the lights on. **Care & feeding**: if left within the open-space area of the SSC after logout, ships will despawn **very** quickly, so you'll need to stay with your commnity center to keep it alive and well. Furthermore, it uses hinges (a bad choice, admittedly) that are known to be buggy when your ship becomes hosted by someone else. All the more reason to stay close to your commnity center. As noted earlier the creator is lazy so the blueprint may be [downloaded immediately](https://faulty-industries.s3.us-west-1.amazonaws.com/community_center.fbe) at no cost. **Update**: Railang#5753 added light guards to theirs that do a great job of reducing the glare, but again I'm very lazy so won't be updating the blueprint for now. I _did_ manage to gin up enough motivation to fly to Origin 9 and to grab a photo of their additions to illustrate how it's done, which I've added here. Thanks a ton for this suggestion Railang, it's a really good one. (Wish I'd thought of it originally, frankly!)

One of the first ships I built on getting a hankering for a Borg-ish cube in which to cruise around the Origins. Also strove to build something with a cost low enough to effectively be a "throw-away". Controls are very snappy around all axes and rolls incredibly well, allowing for some fun (if nausea-inducing) light shows. Shiny! As the creator is incredibly lazy, the blueprint may be [downloaded immediately](https://faulty-industries.s3.us-west-1.amazonaws.com/RIF.fbe) at no cost. For exactly the same reason, it is provided with absolutely no warranty or support. Assembly Cost: 235,469 credits

Specifically built to travel through the warp gate and onto the moon, with relatively generous range & speed at a reasonable cost. Listed build costs include the properly-constructed [Fast Travel Gate Core](https://wiki.starbasegame.com/index.php/Fast_travel_gate_core_(assembly)): removing this assembly will reduce the ship cost by about half (in addition to increasing both range & speed, of course). As the creator is incredibly lazy, the blueprint may be [downloaded immediately](https://faulty-industries.s3.us-west-1.amazonaws.com/voyager.fbe) at no cost. -- Many thanks to `Lovel#0509` for his brilliant space photography & permission to share it here!

Assembly Cost: 190,881 credits

Because Starbase needs more purposeless art ships. In honor of & inspired by Piet Mondrain. Handles beautifully around all axes, and is faster moving up or down than forward or backward! No windows or buggy hinged doors for the minimal cockpit: simply unbolt the correct panel to create the viewport. As the creator is lazy, the blueprint may be [downloaded immediately](https://faulty-industries.s3.us-west-1.amazonaws.com/the_mondrain.fbe) at no cost. For exactly the same reason, it is provided with absolutely no warranty or support.
