(SHIP IS CURRENTLY UNDERGOING TESTING WITH BUGFIXES AND HEAT MECHANIC) Hello everyone, First off, thank you to everyone in the community who has helped me with all the questions here and there. There is a lot to know and learn in this game and I would not have completed this ship without the communities help! This is the 4th iteration of the original ship that I started with. It has 774 Solar Panel's that I have seen peak over 17,000 which is around 13.6 free generator's and no added heat! I have been mining at the Moon with this ship and have been mining purely off solar, and never touch the fuel rods. Obviously this is circumstantial, but its been my experience playing and flying this ship for the past two weeks. I have been out mining with it in Zone5 before this iteration and it was able to do over 2200km without needing to refil propellant. With this current iteration, I have made several modifications to it. Updated Asteroid Approaching so you can point at an Asteroid and have the ship take you to it safely with visual indicators Upgraded all Generators and Fuel Chambers from T2 to T3. Added additional coverage on Enhancers for heat reduction and fuel rod efficiency. Added 4 additional Robotic mining arms that retract/extend from within the body of the ship. Added additional range finders to blind spots I found by smashing into asteroids. Updated the ISAN to v4 which supports 15 Waypoints "I know v5 is out, but I personally hardily use it." Refined the Status screen to show errors, warp class, and status on mining bay doors opened or closed. Added the 'Wiggle' system, which makes the mining arms wiggle :) "You can turn this off to force the lasers to converge for manual use" Added safety features to ensure mining arms do not activate from within the belly of the ship when its retracted. Refined the efficiency of the ship further. Added laser velocity control "how fast it moves side to side" So what is this ship and why is it called the Drake? For those that have played Star Citizen, you will know Drake. Drake makes solid ships that well, don't look the best! It may not look like an Origin ship, but man is it functional. With previous versions of this ship I have smacked head on into asteroids with the Plasma's engaged going around 130m/s at the time "speed depends on what you are hauling" and the worst that happened was I lost a solar panel. This ship has been very good to me, and it is capable of getting out there several thousands of Kilometers. The ship's crate count can be further increased by restructuring the beamwork around the outer crates to add crate layers, up to as many as you want. Cheap and disposable stealth skiff, made without FCU/MFC to shave print cost. Made as a disposable ship and assault pod for up to 2 people, there may not be a cheaper, more stress free way to zerg into the fight. For a total of 4 stacks of t1 ore, and a print cost of 22 001 credits print without crafting parts, i can confidently say it does not get cheaper than this for brave one way trips. For good measure, i made a 5 pod launcher variant, giving you possibly one of the most affordable stealth bombers to have fun with. //Download// https://github.com/Open-Source-Armada/OSA-Zoog-Mk2 //Specs// Comes unarmed for scouting or with 5 missiles for bombardment. LaunchMissile+ and LaunchTube+ are your missile triggers, bind both to the same key, this system uses no yolo and is a simple way to cycle and launch missile tubes. 148 m/s max speed using T1 manoeuvre thrusters, no trails. 68277.5234 kg in weight without missiles, 74437.3047 kg armed with missiles. One small prop tanks for 1 million prop, 40 mins estimated flight time. One T1 fuel chamber + one T1 generators, gens must be ran at max to fly. Roll is performed using Roll_L and Roll_R buttons. This ship has no FCU/MFC, it is manually balanced, and uses direct lever control. See attached photo of bindings for this ship. This is done to make the print cost incredibly low, and further make a cheap ship cheaper. //Tactics// Zerging the enemy has been, and always will be a strong method to win, low to no cost attacks with handheld weapons is the simplest form of combat. It is also the basis for station assault, so i made the Zoog. Cheaply printed even without tech tree unlocks, fast and stealthy, can be used by anyone as a easy trip into combat. Has two pilot seats for pilot to fly based on preference, doubles as a passenger seat to allow two endos per trip. The missile variant takes full advantage of the near zero cost of the hull, allowing you to deploy 5 missiles with next to no ship cost attached, it is basically the launcher and missiles. Ideally the launcher will be used to breach stations during siege, but I also expect it to be used as a risk free way to deploy some missiles.

Defensively this ship allows scouting of dangerous situations, and can be used to travel to key locations without being followed yourself. Did i mention this ship is cheaper than dirt, new player friendly, almost all T1, making it great for emergency ship recovery (just ditch it, it costs nothing).
