The deep core is a dual purpose moon and asteroid miner! Featuring a whopping 30 lasers and an extremely reinforced frontal area, this ship was made to mine moons! This ship came from an idea that a tunnel bore ship would be needed to dig down in order to reach the up and coming ore deposits on moons located deep underground. (It also doubles as an asteroid miner, but due to its lethargic straight-line speed, I wouldn't recommend it.) I am cautiously opening up blueprint sales for this ship due to the fact that moon mining is only on the PTU as of now, but I doubt it will substantially change before it makes its way onto the live servers.

The BoringDrill is designed to bore straight down into the surface of a moon. Uses 24 mining lasers and 8 ore collectors in an octagon ring to create a mostly round hole into the surface. Mines roughly half a meter/minute (maybe closer to 1m/min), but is a guess, not a measurement. It's not fool proof, though mining in a moon base safe zone makes it near! Built on the latest heat mechanics, it has 100% passive cooling, and able to power the drill non-stop for around 2 hours. Having a moon base with a repair hall makes refueling a breeze; and since it's powered by T1 generators, it is refueled with nhurgite, making it able to be refueled from Elysiums belt! No need to import exorium to power this drill! This is the MAWS4, it's the successor to the MAWS3 It has 400 crates "only" and 142 m/s at dry speed What it lack on speed and crates it more than makes up for in armour, redundancy, features and weaponry This is a ship that will do it's absolute best to take very good care of you In order to do so it has 2 cockpits : one with very thick armour and a second one with very good view.
