It gets good mileage out of its unangled thruster setup and has a cockpit with a good field of view. A dual-mode avoidance system helps it to dodge asteroids, though care must be taken given the large size of the ship. The ship can accommodate a furnace in the back of the ship's interior, allowing it to act as a mobile refinery. The floor plates do need to be moved slightly to do this though. Caution: The Gyllr's asteroid avoidance is automatically disabled if either of its doors are open. Please close all doors before turning on avoidance.

The Orbiter is an exploration ship but planned to operate with a capital ship within a range of 5000 km from its machine reconstruction, in a planet or moon orbit. It is based on instrument flight and makes it easy to carry out complicated routes. It was designed and used to be a complement to the usual explorer and nav chip buy and sell systems. From a point at the level of a belt, it can move along this belt for a given distance or a given angle of orbit, inside (between the planet or the moon and the belt) as outside (after the belt). As well as navigation in a belt, in particular to make jump points in areas. It is designed in a very symmetrical way to ensure excellent weight distribution and the most perfect precision possible. That's why he has 2 dataloggers when just 1 would have been enough. But during an unmarked trip over a distance of 5000km, the slightest shift can prove fatal (exceeding the distance and arriving in the belt, etc.). Its capacity is 7000 - 8000 km outside a belt and 6000 - 7000 km inside a belt (significant use of maneuvering thrusters). It is small, agile and responsive compared to interplanetary explorers. Its operation is based on the center of the orbit (center of the planet / moon), and from there all modes of operation are open. It uses trigonometry and 3D trigonometry to ensure the accuracy of its operation. During a lap of EOS, it proved to be particularly accurate with over distances of 4500km, an error of around 10km. Its relative distance calculation with respect to the trajectory axis is particularly useful for finding an area in a belt. You point the planet, you fly over the belt until you reach the desired distance by following the belt (which represents a torus). Once the distance is reached, simply position yourself at 90ยฐ and calibrate the gyro then descend into the belt for the desired distance. Generally dodging asteroids, ... will cause you to deviate from your trajectory and make the search difficult for you. With the relative distance, you will have information on the distance traveled compared to your initial trajectory in real time. Searching for the area is therefore much simpler. As you will have understood, this ship is a complement to what is currently being done in terms of exploring. His goal is to travel a maximum of 5000km to make a navigation disk, to use his machine reconstruction of his capital ship and to move him to find your Orbiter. Although it was designed to be as accurate as possible, the precision of the reference points is essential. In this sense, a calibration "Grid" system is present on the ship in order to facilitate the alignment and accuracy of the reference point of the center of a planet or moon. The grid is only used initially to calibrate the gyroscope. The DAMK5P is the latest edition of my everyday driver and a demonstration of the tools that the [NavSuite](https://github.com/Thaccus/Starbase-Nav-Suite) can provide. This function first ship has proven sturdy and reliable in the harshest conditions. They have been taken all over the universe: Elysium, Szellem, Alstel, Neso, Chemosh, Kumi, and more. From Elysium deathzones to wrangling asteroids in belts where you and the rocks are fighting gravity, this ship has seen it all. ## Software Features include: - Asteroid Avoidance: 0.2s response time code with prioritization should two opposing sides detect. It also comes with strafe arrest integration so that you stop drifting laterally after you are out of the way of the rocks. Feel free to grill me on this as safety is my number one concern. - Inertial Navigation: Ever want coordinates outside of the transmitter ranges? Want to be able to go straight back to zone 3 in a far moon belt without fuss? This ship does that. - Strafe Arrest: Does drifting laterally when you turn your ship while moving at max speed make you nervous? Worry no more, strafe arrest will quickly slow all lateral movement while maintaining forward speed. - ESTOP: How many other ships can park in gravity? This ship can do not only that, but also come to a full stop automatically regardless of your facing/velocity at the press of a button. - Vectored Speedometer: Basic speedometers are great, but this ship can tell you how fast you are moving in each ship relative axis individually as well. - Autopilot: Originally based on FixerID's autopilot system. Load a waypoint from your list and hit the Nav button. The ship goes there. - Approach: DarkyShadow's profiled motion approach script. By far the most reliable approach I have encountered. - Waypoints: 20 waypoint storage with a manual edit progress bar and copy/paste-able strings to pass to/from your friends quickly. - Galactic Alignment: Aligns you to Z+ forward Y+ up in case you want to go precisely forward into the belt. - Compass: Firestarr99's bubble compass on a text panel. - Scanning: New rock who dis? - Laser charging on fire: Just in case you forget to turn them on or get surprised, the ship automatically makes sure the lasers are charging if you try to fire. - All flight controlling software is built on a human priority control system so that you always have the final say. The ship can control the levers, but you can always override the ship just by using your normal keys. When you let go, the ship will resume any automated control. ## Hardware features include: - Four converged(500m) laser cannons, just in case you need to speak the local language. - The ability to go 150m/s with most full loads. 140m/s if you have a load full of Lukium. This thing is literally covered in thrusters. - Converging rangefinders to cover the high visibility cockpit without getting in the way. The always-on pointing lasers also double as a visual indicator of both asteroid size and distance. (note: Rangefinders do not show for those viewing the ship in Potato LOD. Pirates can't see them unless they are super close) - Laser Designator Translation Sensor for vectored speed and a Speedometer placed on a CoM so balanced that it doesn't move more than 1cm when the ship is loaded. - Dual FCU/MFC stacks for increased fuel efficiency. - 99% ducted connection with crate redundancy. Very Few pipes on the whole ship. Those wires that exist are primarily on the rangefinder cage for easy repair. - All custom bolted with an unladen strength factor of 42.069 for the memes. - Hidden bolt, high visibility dash board and cockpit layout. - Easy Access service tunnel to get through the interior of the ship. - Rotationally aligned yolol chips and fuel rod spares: No mucking about with orientation, just put the thing in the spot and get on with your life. Yolol is facing away from the cockpit for that little extra frame-rate. - Refuel point for easy prop tank refilling in the field. - Passenger seat with easy access to the reverse lever for unforeseen circumstances. - Scalable modular design. Add or remove rings to fit your needs. I like this configuration best but, I'm not your dad, do what you want. In testing the original ship flew well over 40 hours without touching the controls (or an asteroid of course) on automated flights out to ISAN limit and back to prove to myself and now you that this is a highly robust automated flight platform. Current version has been used everyday for about 6 months and all versions have a usage lifetime measured in years. Any purchasers who provide feedback that gets included into the ship get rewards scaling with value of the input(including unadvertised BP's and beta testing for future models). All code is available for review in the link at the top of the page as I believe any safety system worth its salt should stand up to public inquiry. Test flights upon request. Please do not distribute or share this blueprint.

A community center to improve your local Origin & show goodwill toward your fellow endos. Equipped with all crafting benches (two of the basic variant) & eight chairs, four of which are seated around the central meeting table. A [_two-storey_ variant](https://sb-creators.org/makers/Faulty%20Designs/ship/%5BFree%5D%20Two-storey%20Community%20Center%20%28Mk%20II%29) is now available as well, freely of course! New to this version are glare guards as first added by `Railang#5753` & a rangefinder-based light switch that is accessible to all endos, not just those granted "operator" access to the ship. Also, while the typo joke was fun it was also quite confusing to new players, so I did in fact go ahead and fix it in this version. [The original _Mk I_ variant](https://sb-creators.org/makers/Faulty%20Designs/ship/%5BFree%5D%20%22Commnity%22%20%28Community%29%20Center), complete with typo, will always remain available! Flies incredibly slowly & the cockpit area is basic and terrible, but it gets the job done. Equipped with excessive battery capacity to keep the lights on. As the creator is incredibly lazy, the blueprint may be [downloaded immediately](https://faulty-industries.s3.us-west-1.amazonaws.com/community_center_mk2.fbe) at no cost. For exactly the same reason, it is provided with absolutely no warranty or support. This is the ECO grabber big It's meant to be a nice and very easy way to make a lot of credits in very very little time ( 4 to 6 million credits per hour if used properly ). This is the explorer, it is a pair of ships capable of achieving a theoretical autonomy of 120'000 km at a speed ranging 140 m/s to 150 m/s ( before and after using the propellant of the secondary ship ) The main ship is equipped with a towing beam and pulls a modified [hss-moon-racer](https://sb-creators.org/makers/Happy%20Ship%20Shop/ship/%5BFREE%5D%20moon%20racer) containing 1.3 billion worth of propellant Once the main ship has used that amount of propellant, the moon racer's propellant is transferred to the explorer and the beam holding the propellant tanks are un-weld in order to detach them.
