This is a yolol that comes on a test bed to show how it works ( and how to use it properly ) It calculates your autonomy and displays it as : - time before you run out of rods - time before you run out of propellant - estimated distance you can fly with your speed / rods - estimated distance you can fly with your speed / propellant This allows you to precisely know how much time and distance you have left It can be used in a few different ways and give you an answer to the following questions : - do you have enough propellant / rods to fly home ? - what combination of plasma / thrusters gives you the best ratio for distance ? - is your exploration ship going to be able to reach that moon ? - do you have enough generation on your ships to mine / travel far ? - is adding more generators / propellant worth it ? The Flipper is a ship for hauling a single T10 asteroid, designed to be used in the safe zone. It flies in one direction to easily load the asteroid and then you can flip around and fly load in the opposite direction, still with decent speed. It has load automation to approach and load the asteroid as well as a material scanner that gives estimated credits for selling the asteroids. The blueprint is provided for free. Gigantic Ships with 20 Ringlasers are pretty cool to look at but rather inefficient due to Iow cargo capacity. I like to torpedo into the Belt, hunt those juicy T10 Asteroids, fill my pockets and blast back. Thats why i designed the 720 PHM. It's purpose is to be fast, agile with big cargo and relatively low surface area and yet make you feel like you're in an actual Spaceship and not a Chair on top of a box. No fancy laser chenanigans, just fly up to a rock, blast it into pieces and move on! Key speccs: 1. 720 Crates 2. 6 Ring Plasma Thruster and 64 T2 Triangle Thrusters will give you: 145 m/s empty and 90 m/s with 720 crates full of charodium. (In theory another ring possible but havent testet balancing yet) 3. 16 T2 Box Thruster for Maneuvering 4. 8 T2 Triangle Thrusters for Breaking 5. 4 Mining laser 6. 2 ore collector 7. 1 MPS 8. I'd never tried CLFs and was not about to spend >500k just to experiment with them, so this is literally a one-night experiment in building a small, fast 'roid hauler. Even with a few rocks it'll still move >130m/s. Has an array of five rangefinders, four at the corners and one directly in the center, to help guide approach & capture. Also includes my [simple ISAN-based Odometer](https://github.com/faultstarbase/SimpleISANOdometer), because it's always fun to know how far you've gone. I genuinely didn't expect it to perform well but it has outperformed those expectations so considering that it might be helpful to others I decided to post it. Admittedly though it's not close to perfect & so offers the enterprising ship builder much room for improvement: for one, it does not have roll at the moment and I was way too lazy to bother tweaking it *ad infinitum* to enable it. Handles very well on all other axes, though! :wink: As the creator is incredibly lazy, the blueprint may be [downloaded immediately](https://faulty-industries.s3.us-west-1.amazonaws.com/haul_me_maybe.fbe) at no cost. For exactly the same reason, it is provided with absolutely no warranty or support. This is the explorer, it is a pair of ships capable of achieving a theoretical autonomy of 120'000 km at a speed ranging 140 m/s to 150 m/s ( before and after using the propellant of the secondary ship ) The main ship is equipped with a towing beam and pulls a modified [hss-moon-racer](https://sb-creators.org/makers/Happy%20Ship%20Shop/ship/%5BFREE%5D%20moon%20racer) containing 1.3 billion worth of propellant Once the main ship has used that amount of propellant, the moon racer's propellant is transferred to the explorer and the beam holding the propellant tanks are un-weld in order to detach them. A cheap well armoured tripod ship, built to provide close air support to infantry, is a cheaper PvP option than most fighters. //Download// https://github.com/Open-Source-Armada/OSA-Shantak-Mk1 //Specs// Turret turntable for a tripod gun of choice, can be rotated 90 degrees left or right, buttons can be used using Tab + Mouse cursor while on the turret. Ship has enough power gen to fire any tripod continuously. BoostMin and BoostMax act as a aim keybind without yolo (yolo is avoided where possible due to the 0.2 delay) these should ALWAYS be bound to the same key. Ship is set to both fly and aim at a smooth sensitivity (tune to your taste), Boost keybind removes these limits allowing for faster pitch/yaw. This can be altered to be the more common method of aiming, having higher sense as standard, and having the ships pitch/yaw slow down for aiming. (Swap the BoostMin/BoostMax Off values with its On values, remember to set it in the pitch/yaw lever fields too) Armoured using known methods of meta plating, including big plate health, voxel armour and segmented and layered plating. Its primarily plated using char across the ship, alloys are on the side/rear armour. 145 m/s max speed using T2 thrusters, 141 with tripod + gunner. 964847.812 kg in weight. One small prop tanks for 1 million prop, 40 mins estimated flight time. 1 T1 fuel chamber, 3 T1 generators, 3 T1 enhancers, 2 hours 50 mins estimated flight time, 50 mins estimated fight time. Attacking the ground in a typical meta fighter is far from ideal, where as a tripod ship can get closer and deploy fire on infantry. These ships often double as scouts and troop transport. The intent with this ship is to perform a constant pylon turn around the target area, while the gunner shoots to the side at infantry. Done right, the ship is never stationary for an easy hit with explosives, and the gunner is afforded a clear sight on the ground and horizon at all times. During live testing at the loot events, not one was shot down by infantry, and only a few were lost to fighters. When engaged by a fighter, you are at a disadvantage. To engage, perform a pylon turn as usual, keeping your speed as high as possible while your gunner fires.

This is the Silure, a heavy duty miner / blockade runner It boasts 700 crates and is FAST : 150m/s empty and 139m/s when loaded with Lukium ( 27'000kg per crate ) The main goal of this ship is to be a ship that is going to allow you to mine in the most hostile of places. Those pirates waiting for you at the gate are in for a very very bad surprise It's main features are : - a heavy duty / mouse aiming defense system made of 14 autocanons + designators ( the red allows you to see them even on Elysium's belt ) - autopilot : set the waypoint, sit back and let the ship go by itself do it's destination autonomously ( uses a combination of Kompass / ISAN / Waypoint system / custom code ). The autopilot uses the AAS so as long as you are within ISAN range you can use it wherever - custom ground avoidance system - custom - good - AAS ( manages priorities for the top / bottom and left / right to prevent collisions on numerous and / or big objects ) - custom scanner that is fast, does not flash, can scan up to 8 different materials per object and does not require you to press 20 buttons+ to get it to work - custom warning system for generators / battery / radiators / propellant - advanced autonomy calculator ( the calculator gives the times but also the distance you can travel before having to refill the fuel and / or the rods ) - good range ( 2400 km approximatively but depends on how you use the ship => this information is given by the autonomy calculator ) - spare rods included in the BP - multiple different laser patterns for different use cases. 3 fixed and 2 that move and that are customisable without using the YOLOL ( configuration through memory chip ) - very very good manoeuvrability and top / down movements - very good reverse speed - fast travel included - 2 completelly fonctionnal cockpits to suit your needs / have redundancy - it looks cool ! 😁 Please note that unlike the Pangasius, the Silure puts a heavy emphasis on going through zones that are made dangerous due to players and is equiped adequatly to deal with them ^^ What to chat about it ? A playfull pin-up girl, ready to be displayed on the side of your ship. Just print out the plate by itself from ship designer or add it to another blueprint. - Comes on a regular 432 by 432 plate made with material of your choice (bastium by default) - Takes up 167 out of 600 possible decals - As of right now (build 627) can't be repainted because of poorly implemented decal tool - As of right now (build 627) can't be moved from that plate in ship designer because it messes up the order in which decals are rendered. You'll have to install the whole plate unto your ship as it is.
