It is the natural next step in AS development of specialized surface miners as the pinnacle of surface drill mining. It retains the ability to drill downwards autonomously, improves in ergonomics by streamlining movement between decks, capitalizes on the latest materials to reduce the bulk of its signature massive laser drill and utilizes the saved voxels for more crates. With modern advancements in surface drill ship design, the MkII is better adapted to its role with a tapering rear end housing a proper mining cockpit and a smaller 24-laser drill. 6 lasers have been moved to the side onto optionally manned mining turrets, used for widening the pit it drills itself into, or for precision mining of leftover ore in the pit walls by endo control. Downwards speed is slower than its predecessor, but it now excavates a wider pit and reduces time spent pickaxing. Its predecessor's horizontal/vertical flight mode switch has been removed in order to simplify flight control systems, as it was a feature often left unused in practice. The Orbiter is an exploration ship but planned to operate with a capital ship within a range of 5000 km from its machine reconstruction, in a planet or moon orbit. It is based on instrument flight and makes it easy to carry out complicated routes. It was designed and used to be a complement to the usual explorer and nav chip buy and sell systems. From a point at the level of a belt, it can move along this belt for a given distance or a given angle of orbit, inside (between the planet or the moon and the belt) as outside (after the belt). As well as navigation in a belt, in particular to make jump points in areas. It is designed in a very symmetrical way to ensure excellent weight distribution and the most perfect precision possible. That's why he has 2 dataloggers when just 1 would have been enough. But during an unmarked trip over a distance of 5000km, the slightest shift can prove fatal (exceeding the distance and arriving in the belt, etc.). Its capacity is 7000 - 8000 km outside a belt and 6000 - 7000 km inside a belt (significant use of maneuvering thrusters). It is small, agile and responsive compared to interplanetary explorers. Its operation is based on the center of the orbit (center of the planet / moon), and from there all modes of operation are open. It uses trigonometry and 3D trigonometry to ensure the accuracy of its operation. During a lap of EOS, it proved to be particularly accurate with over distances of 4500km, an error of around 10km. Its relative distance calculation with respect to the trajectory axis is particularly useful for finding an area in a belt. You point the planet, you fly over the belt until you reach the desired distance by following the belt (which represents a torus). Once the distance is reached, simply position yourself at 90° and calibrate the gyro then descend into the belt for the desired distance. Generally dodging asteroids, ... will cause you to deviate from your trajectory and make the search difficult for you. With the relative distance, you will have information on the distance traveled compared to your initial trajectory in real time. Searching for the area is therefore much simpler. As you will have understood, this ship is a complement to what is currently being done in terms of exploring. His goal is to travel a maximum of 5000km to make a navigation disk, to use his machine reconstruction of his capital ship and to move him to find your Orbiter. Although it was designed to be as accurate as possible, the precision of the reference points is essential. In this sense, a calibration "Grid" system is present on the ship in order to facilitate the alignment and accuracy of the reference point of the center of a planet or moon. The grid is only used initially to calibrate the gyroscope. Gigantic Ships with 20 Ringlasers are pretty cool to look at but rather inefficient due to Iow cargo capacity. I like to torpedo into the Belt, hunt those juicy T10 Asteroids, fill my pockets and blast back. Thats why i designed the 720 PHM. It's purpose is to be fast, agile with big cargo and relatively low surface area and yet make you feel like you're in an actual Spaceship and not a Chair on top of a box. No fancy laser chenanigans, just fly up to a rock, blast it into pieces and move on! Key speccs: 1. 720 Crates 2. 6 Ring Plasma Thruster and 64 T2 Triangle Thrusters will give you: 145 m/s empty and 90 m/s with 720 crates full of charodium. The AutoVex is a FREE 2-Autocannon, low-cost fighter ship designed by me, Vexus! This ship is made to be a low-cost, short-range fighter ship. It has (2) Tier2 Box Thrusters, (2) Tier2 Triangle Thrusters, for a combined thrust of 1.76M thrust. At a weight of around 248k tons this gives a thrust to weight ratio of over 7, achieving max speed of 150m/s or greater. The total ore cost, including nominal assembly cost of this ship, is around 130k credits, making it affordable for anyone to fly. The open-style cockpit is wrapped in glass - one of the more costly materials used to make the ship (but easy and cheap to produce on your own!) - for great vision in almost every direction. The balance of the ship is superb, requiring zero maneuvering thrusters. Four "roll" thrusters are used for manual roll control using YOLOL (ensure you bind Roll keys in the ship flight control editor while on the pilot chair by pressing V while in the chair). Other features include: - Compact, easy to use and read console buttons - Rangefinder aiming point at the front of the ship controlled by RF button on console - Standby mode for keeping guns and generators hot when you expect the possibility of action, along with an Info button for changing those values to your desired levels (SbGun is gun charge limit, SbGen is generator limit) - Armed mode for putting all systems (generators and gun charge limit) at 100% - Cruise mode for long distance flying - Turtle mode for a bit more control in tight spaces - Transponder for meeting friends or alerting them to your location during a fight - Precision mode for precise aim, along with the ability to modify button values to achieve a precision you prefer (PValue sets a precise lever min/max, and LeverMoveSpeed changes LeverBindsMoveSpeed of levers to that value; Roll lever is unaffected) - Propellant cut-off button, acts as an "off" button preventing the ship from being used without disabling the button, or to ensure a propellant leak can be fixed before you lose it all - Durable, with mostly Aegesium plating, larger plates and a heavy armored front for withstanding direct fire. Charodium plating is used on the underside for both defense from ground troops as well as (and mainly for) weight balancing - Heat and electricity balance allows for constant autocannon firing non-stop - Weapon ammo container explosions don't disable your ship; make your way home and craft new guns as needed. Warm up gens with flight, or Armed/Standby mode while stationary, and then continue on your way. Either way the custom generator script will work it all out for you! Note: To ensure maximum cost reduction when buying the custom ship from the SSC, either buy or make the weapons, which include 2x autocannon barrel, 1x autocannon structure, 1x autocannon structure mirror, 1x mounted weapon body, 1x mounted weapon body mirror, and 2x full autocannon magazines. The Hexxer is a ship for hauling small asteroids, designed to be used in the safe zone. It uses six tractor beams to pull asteroids into six compartments of cargo lock beams in a hex pattern. It has load automation to approach and load asteroids in the right order to balance the ship as much as possible as well as a material scanner that gives estimated credits for selling the asteroids. When a gate drive married a Lamborghini, they produced this max-speed armored sport utility Endo transport vehicle - a vehicle which graduated from an elite Special Forces academy at the top of its class, and served as an agent in the Interstellar Secret Service before making itself available for civilian use. The Executive Class Shuttlecraft and its variants have been micro-engineered by ITC's incredible team of engineers, and QA'ed meticulously to provide a maintenance-free experience while delivering the highest quality in flight control and performance. You will literally oil the underside of your pilot seat the first time you launch it into space. We have provided a complimentary YOLOL pad near the pilot seat to help with cleaning up any messes afterward. Replace with any interior you desire, making this a multi-role vessel supporting a number of mission profiles from fighter, to respawn assault lander, S.O.S. rescue ship, and deep space exploration vessel (see the Tier 2 version for details). At max speed, any threats you encounter will be hard pressed to intercept you.
