Name: MMHDXL-053D Fafner 830 Type: Superheavy Miner Features: - 830 crates - 12-laser drill system - Dry speed: 143 m/s - Darkyshadow's profiled PID approach system - Heavy automation allows the ship to be flown with a single pilot - Dual-mode asteroid avoidance - choice of stopping and waiting for pilot input, or autonomous dodging - Full interior The Fafner won't beat a Ghidorah's crate count or endurance, but the strength of the ship lies in the advanced 12-laser drill that dominates its front. This drill is capable of efficiently demolishing an entire T10 asteroid in 1 minute with no additional user input beyond pointing the ship at the center of the asteroid and hitting the PresetAuto button, and has power settings available if you prefer to be thriftier with your power when mining smaller asteroids. A large ship like this is absolutely needed to capitalize on the increased size of asteroids since build 869. Spare fuel rods are carried internally, and it has enough of them for a full rod change and a little more. It has a full interior, with enough space to bring some friends with you on your way out into the belt. In recent times, this ship has been superseded by the Fafner MkII, but it remains in production as a lower cost belt-only miner carrying a 12-laser drill. There are plans to modernize it though.

Model Number: HHBRS-077D\ Name: Eselin H\ Type: Blockade Runner Hauler\ Features: - Speed: 150 m/s (dry, boost level 2), 135 m/s (wet, 26k mass, boost level 3) - 216 crates - Small frontal profile for squeezing through asteroid fields - Multiple boost settings The Eselin H is a small and fast 216-crate hauler. It is targeted mainly at fledgeling companies building towards capital ships and also traders plying their wares in contested space, with the speed to keep pace with interceptors in a straight line and the advantage of a small frontal profile making asteroid collisions far more unlikely despite its sizable crate count. It comes with variable boost levels similar to the Holsteiner B, allowing sets of thrusters to be switched off for fuel efficiency. It can easily hit 150 m/s on boost level 2, but boost level 3 will be needed when loaded down. An extra set of modular thrusters will be designed at a later date that can be welded onto the sides to further increase wet speed, sacrificing the profile slightly. The ship is already overgenned as is and can support even more thrusters.

**Starbase May Update** This is the biggest mining ship you will see around.....ok maybe not the biggest but it's definitely unique and robust! This monster Ship hosts a whopping 485 ore crates, 16 Mining lasers, Quad-Isan, All crafting tables, 4 Ore Collectors, and a host of automated mining scripts. This ship was designed for DZ Mining in mind, Gota go for those T10s! Reinforced Aegisium front end with upgraded Plating to make asteroid strikes a lot less catastrophic. Will take quite a beating if flown properly. 2 Mode Generator Script with Full Ship shutdown 3 Separated laser banks to optimize mining conditions depending on roids. 1 Automatic Mining script "DeathRoll" 1 Sweep Laser Script for bigger roids 1 Focus Script to Focus lasers to point. 1 Mining Shutdown Script to turn everything off with one switch! Can resist quite a bit of incoming fire, But does have an exposed underbelly. Due to this batteries are compartmentalized to explode only within themselves. In most cases, the ship is still able to fly even if only operating on a single battery bank with multiple connections for backup. Roughly 5 hours of mining time for me. I get a good play day out of it before needing to replace rods. This includes me just drifting sorting boxes and maximizing inventory. I would say a good travel distance is within 1200km depending on how aggressive you are with mining lasers. Room for plenty of YOLO expansion. List of things not complete AAS AutoGen+ **The generator has an auto script but has not finished programing the indicator lights to properly light up to show fuel % Like the ship and get good hauls? (very creative name i know) why pay more when you can pay less? if youre in need of a cheap large hauler to move ore from your safezone station to sell at the origin markets, this ship is for you!! An 800 crate no frills hauler, this cheap ship will get you and your ore to where it needs to be. it can handle a full simulated lukium load at 90m/s (but why would you ever be hauling lukium in this thing?) so using a random mix of sz ores it can hit closer to 110m/s. fuel rods can last about 1.5 hours before needing changed if run full tilt, (ship has 12 additional extra rod storage) propellant can last for about 4 hours. The DAMK5P is the latest edition of my everyday driver and a demonstration of the tools that the [NavSuite](https://github.com/Thaccus/Starbase-Nav-Suite) can provide. This function first ship has proven sturdy and reliable in the harshest conditions. They have been taken all over the universe: Elysium, Szellem, Alstel, Neso, Chemosh, Kumi, and more. From Elysium deathzones to wrangling asteroids in belts where you and the rocks are fighting gravity, this ship has seen it all. ## Software Features include: - Asteroid Avoidance: 0.2s response time code with prioritization should two opposing sides detect. It also comes with strafe arrest integration so that you stop drifting laterally after you are out of the way of the rocks. Feel free to grill me on this as safety is my number one concern. - Inertial Navigation: Ever want coordinates outside of the transmitter ranges? Want to be able to go straight back to zone 3 in a far moon belt without fuss? This ship does that. - Strafe Arrest: Does drifting laterally when you turn your ship while moving at max speed make you nervous? Worry no more, strafe arrest will quickly slow all lateral movement while maintaining forward speed. - ESTOP: How many other ships can park in gravity? This ship can do not only that, but also come to a full stop automatically regardless of your facing/velocity at the press of a button. - Vectored Speedometer: Basic speedometers are great, but this ship can tell you how fast you are moving in each ship relative axis individually as well. - Autopilot: Originally based on FixerID's autopilot system. Load a waypoint from your list and hit the Nav button. The ship goes there. - Approach: DarkyShadow's profiled motion approach script. By far the most reliable approach I have encountered. - Waypoints: 20 waypoint storage with a manual edit progress bar and copy/paste-able strings to pass to/from your friends quickly. - Galactic Alignment: Aligns you to Z+ forward Y+ up in case you want to go precisely forward into the belt. - Compass: Firestarr99's bubble compass on a text panel. - Scanning: New rock who dis? - Laser charging on fire: Just in case you forget to turn them on or get surprised, the ship automatically makes sure the lasers are charging if you try to fire. - All flight controlling software is built on a human priority control system so that you always have the final say. The ship can control the levers, but you can always override the ship just by using your normal keys. When you let go, the ship will resume any automated control. ## Hardware features include: - Four converged(500m) laser cannons, just in case you need to speak the local language. - The ability to go 150m/s with most full loads. 140m/s if you have a load full of Lukium. This thing is literally covered in thrusters. - Converging rangefinders to cover the high visibility cockpit without getting in the way. The always-on pointing lasers also double as a visual indicator of both asteroid size and distance. (note: Rangefinders do not show for those viewing the ship in Potato LOD. Pirates can't see them unless they are super close) - Laser Designator Translation Sensor for vectored speed and a Speedometer placed on a CoM so balanced that it doesn't move more than 1cm when the ship is loaded. - Dual FCU/MFC stacks for increased fuel efficiency. - 99% ducted connection with crate redundancy. Very Few pipes on the whole ship. Those wires that exist are primarily on the rangefinder cage for easy repair. - All custom bolted with an unladen strength factor of 42.069 for the memes. - Hidden bolt, high visibility dash board and cockpit layout. - Easy Access service tunnel to get through the interior of the ship. - Rotationally aligned yolol chips and fuel rod spares: No mucking about with orientation, just put the thing in the spot and get on with your life. Yolol is facing away from the cockpit for that little extra frame-rate. - Refuel point for easy prop tank refilling in the field. - Passenger seat with easy access to the reverse lever for unforeseen circumstances. - Scalable modular design. Add or remove rings to fit your needs. I like this configuration best but, I'm not your dad, do what you want. In testing the original ship flew well over 40 hours without touching the controls (or an asteroid of course) on automated flights out to ISAN limit and back to prove to myself and now you that this is a highly robust automated flight platform. Current version has been used everyday for about 6 months and all versions have a usage lifetime measured in years. Any purchasers who provide feedback that gets included into the ship get rewards scaling with value of the input(including unadvertised BP's and beta testing for future models). All code is available for review in the link at the top of the page as I believe any safety system worth its salt should stand up to public inquiry. Test flights upon request.
