When combat flows from ships to on foot, which it often does, one of these effective yet low cost shields could easily save not only your life, but the costly purchase of a replacement ship as well. Our shields offer not only defensive, but stealth, and tactical advantages as well. For defense, these shields are invulnerable to many types of small arms fire, and can even take a few hits from ship weapons. They give an advantage of stealth in that with their octagonal fronts, it is easy to mistake them for an asteroid, or in the case of being near a damaged or destroyed ship, a bit of wreckage. As for the tactical advantages, our shields also allow for zooming in with weapons while floating in space, whereas without one you cannot. In addition they offer a multitude of angles for you to peek out of, making it an absolute nightmare for anyone attempting to preemptively aim where they think you're going to peek out of, and therefore allow you to surprise your enemy from an unexpected angle. Also the personal shield variant is extremely portable as you are able to put it into your inventory, in which it only takes up one slot. Custom painting, decals, company initials, and a battle damaged or worn look are available at an extra charge, depending on the amount of changes, additions, and time required to detail them. Since more and more videos popup about Self Destruction devices and players in the comments ask about how it works. Here it is and for free. The Self Destructor doesnt require any power, thats because the Yolol inside the Torpedo is executed even when no power is available. Most players dont seem to know that, lol. This is no fancy design, i mean why would you paint a target at a crucial device? The Torpedo will detonate by itself if its removed from the launcher or if the launcher is hit or unlocked. It will also start its countdown if the buttons are damaged or removed. So the yolol is basically not accessible from the outside and one would have to cut into it and that would always trigger an explosion no matter from which side one tries. Even disconneting the torpedo launcher from the rest of the destructor will activate it. The only option an attacker has is to cut the whole thing out of the ship and move it quickly (for grabbing it is to many parts). For that he only has 60 Seconds. Thats the Coutdown. The self destructor is activated by setting :Trigger to 1. It can be disarmed with a password of your choice thats hardcoded in the yolol chip and by then turning the :Disarm handle. As said the destructor needs zero energy, so you dont need to connect it with your ship, but if you do then you can trigger and disarm the destructor from anywhere in your ship. Just dont forget your password. VOLE and The Slut is a pack of two ships that work together to drill holes on a moon surface. They're cheap and good for afk'ing some Valkite or actively mining some of the ore chunks exposed by VOLE. A good base to get your feet wet with moon mining. VOLE can drill 40m diameter holes, while you AFK on it and suck it up with your mining backpack, which is linked to The Slut, parked on the surface above the hole. It's best used by babysitting it for a little bit while it drills straight down, then getting it to a resting position, flipping the lasers to widen the hole and then just afk'ing while it widens the hole up. Remember to empty the ore crates every now and then. Features: VOLE * TWIN Mining lasers - 3 Modes, one for drilling a very tight shaft down, and then 2 modes for widening the hole up, exposing ore chunks as it recedes the walls of the hole above itself. * Hover Mining - It mines down, and then hover takes it down auto-gravitically. * Gyroscope assisted 'align to direction of gravity' - If it bumps itself against bottom or wall, it'll correct its position automatically. * A passenger seat accessible from the pilot chair, you can use it to enter 3rd person view and see what the mining lasers are doing. Ore can be sucked from this position just fine. * It looks good, and it's built by a Sand Hobo. The Slut * Solar powered * Lights come on at night. * It's basically just crates that barely move :) Words of Caution: They are slow and meant for Safezone mining, I would not recommend using them outside a safezone. -- They should be spawnable in basically any size Hangar, they're very small. This version is on 2 high, 3 wide 432 ajatite plates. The plates are weld-blobbed onto a beam for easy 2 x 2 transport you can pickup, just unweld the beams and take the blobs off. But with future updates, and this compact build, you are able to wield a monstrous weapon with ease. The Buffer batteries onboard allow for only one shot without recharging them. So it is **HIGHLY RECOMENDED** to *soft-line* them to a ship with a **resource bridge** for sustained fire *25rpm*. Sometimes a pickaxe just isn't enough. This incredible piece of utility can be a fun toy, as well as a deadly weapon in combat. Hook this baby up to any ship that can output more than **10,000 eps** and you have yourself a great tool for hacking up salvaged ship, mining rocks with mouse precision and chopping up pirates that get a little too close. The Handheld Mining Laser is not a new concept, but being crafted without beams makes this easily storable with bolts or cargo lock frames/beams for quick access. The device can run for 8 seconds before needing to be recharged or soft-line connected through a ships resource bridge. In addition, the laser is easy to use by only turning it on and pressing **"E"** to pick up the device and dragging it close to the user with the scroll wheel to trip the rangefinder. The resource bridge from the donor ship **MUST HAVE ONLY CABLE CONNECTION** through the **hardpoint** on the back of the bridge, no piping. `FlowOut=1` `FlowIn=0`. The laser is already configured and will work out of the box. I am working on putting out a line of handheld devices in this coming week.
