In a normal "orbiting" fight, both combatants' main thrust are pointed towards the other ship, resulting in fairly predictable flight especially in terms of range. No. 51 uses its orthogonal thrust similarly to a prograde or retrograde burn in this context: if your "Up" is in the direction of the orbit (the opponent's thruster tail is pointed up from your perspective), the orbit widens and the engagement range lengthens. Conversely, by turning against the orbit (the opponent's tail is pointed down in your view) you can suddenly close the gap. Unlike the larger miners in the Ark's Sparks catalogue that can brute force a large pit using excessive amounts of lasers, the Skalpell mines smart by incising a small hole in the surface, drilling deep before spreading its lasers out to the sides in order to collapse the ground in a large radius around itself. This craft was created with the intention of offering 3 models for any customer to find one to match their gameplay style, and deliver exceptional performance to boot The 3 models are P-retty, E-fficiency and M-ining/military) (M model coming soon)! The E model is a good entry point, and you can upgrade later to the P model for 500,000 credits more, or to the upcoming M model for 1 million more! This is the E model, the de-facto successor to the Dragon_Haul_480! It is a hauling machine, with no extra thought given to anything but moving ores safely through the belt. The E model keeps the beam and crate spacebrick aesthetic, so it will not be winning awards for looks, but if you care about stats and stretching your credits, this is the ship for you. Ideal for new space-truckers who want the best entry level value on the market, or for solo miners bringing back their deep hauls, you will love this ship and watching the asteroids whiz by harmlessly as you count your stacks of credits! It comes in 2 engine loadouts, T2 for ultimate cut-throat price efficiency to get your ores where they need to be, or T3 engines when you care about time and need to be there ASAP. All models include the new 2.0 system of Asteroid avoidance, which has been updated to handle more edge cases, and fit onto one chip, whilst maintaining the same .6-.8 detection time of previous iterations! It will automatically cut throttle, hit the breaks and strafe away from the threat. Afterwards it will resume it's previous thrust, so you don't have to manually interact with it! But that is not all the protection you have! A 1 meter gapped and plated grille also defends your precious bits from the cold, hard, uncaring rocks, so anything your AA misses, it will catch for you! It also doubles up as a shroud to cover up the ugly look of hundreds of rangefinder beams. Repairability was also considered, so engine clusters and the front rangefinders are all able to be accessed easily due to the space left for plating the P model, and the cargolock is perfect for bringing spares along. All models include Cargolock frame to haul items and spare parts to where they need to go, all 3 crafting benches and ISAN navigation waypoint system, which can be operated from both the pilot seat and cabin. An avoid counting system lets you know how much frustration you have avoided while AFK, as well as blinking lights and sounds while the AA is avoiding if you are nearby so you can watch it go! A warp core is included by default, but can be stripped before printing your ship for additional space, which you can cram more ore crates, fuelrods, prop, a cargolock or more into! Blueprint Files will be delivered in a .rar file so you can choose which models and version to build, as well as a bundled user guide .txt so you can have common questions answered! This is your captain speaking: you are going down. You are all going down. Together. This 2.8 kiloton 4-rail fighting vehicle is an investigation into the tactical applications of using orthogonal thrust, and is maybe the ugliest thing to come out of vintage to date. Purchase of the ship entitles you to a walkthrough of the manual of arms and limited technical support. The vehicle is designed around an 8x24E3 power supply, unitized into a dense ball inside four "bucket plates." This generator supports 80 T3 triangle thrusters and four railguns with a rate of fire of one volley every 7-10 seconds (constrained by an anti-starvation system for railgun power cycling and maximum effective rate of fire). This is a "front-to-enemy" fighting vehicle: Armor is 100% oninum, including the railing segments on the front, which each can individually completely absorb a rail cannon hit. Attitude control is handled through six buttons corresponding to your keyboard which are "direct bound" to the thrusters on the tail boom. The FCU is only involved in the balance of the main and orthogonal thrust, granting the design additional flexibility compared to the current meta, and additional resilience compared to a naive implementation with mavs on the nose. This new model of the Migo has returned to its roots, using 2 copies of the largest plate, then form fitting the ships internals into these plates for a compact, high HP micro fighter. It is also overgunned with 4 autos to give it a chance of delivering a fatal hit, and to overpower other ultra light fighters. Micro fighters generally can not circle fight with the majority of ships, so the Mk5 utilises a more jousty, evasive strategy to make use of the ships high speed and small size. Perfect ship for infantry bombardment, swarm tactics and a intro ship for pilots starting out. Included is a experimental missile variant, armed with 20 missiles tuned to be as safe to fire as i can, use at your own risk ;) //Download// https://github.com/Open-Source-Armada/OSA-Migo-Mk5 //Specs// 4 mounted weapons with a staggered fire trigger system. Shoot_1+ and Shoot_2+ are your triggers, bind these to your weapon hotkey (space by default). LaunchMissile+ and LaunchTube+ are your missile triggers, bind both to the same key, this system uses no yolo and is a simple way to cycle and launch missile tubes. Rapidfire button switches between staggered fire (gun 2 will stagger behind gun 1 creating a machine gun effect) and alpha strike (both guns fire together). Sensitivity settings are adjustable from a yolo chip located in the cockpit, this chip only adjusts your sense settings and is not vital to the operation of the aim system, you can use the U-tool save feature to save your sense settings to the ship post print. CenterSensePlus and CenterSenseMinus is your standard sensitivity, Adjust both to your preferred flying sensitivity. AimMax- and AimMin- is your Aim hotkey, Bind both to the same keybind, this will lower your sensitivity, Adjust MinSensePlus and MinSenseMinus to change Aim sensitivity. AimMax+ and AimMin+ is your Boost hotkey, Bind both to the same hotkey, this will raise your sensitivity, Adjust MaxSensePlus and MaxSenseMinus to change Boost sensitivity. Ship is set to both fly and aim at a smooth sensitivity (tune to your taste), Aim keybind lowers the limits for sniping, Boost keybind removes these limits allowing for faster pitch/yaw. Armoured using known methods of meta plating, including big plate health, voxel armour, segmented and layered plating. Materials and components are on the low end, Incredibly cheap, still recommended to craft the guns to fully lower the print cost. Comes in 4 auto/4 auto 4 missile launchers. 357877.469 kg in weight, 145ms at 60fps. 1 small prop tanks for 1 million prop, 1 hour 40 mins estimated flight time. 1 T1 fuel chamber, 1 T1 generator, 3 T1 enhancers 2 hour 40 mins estimated fight time. A conscious decision has also been made to prioritize wet speed over range through the use of T3 thrusters, with the goal of reducing turnaround time and improving credit yields over time to offset the increased refuelling costs. Note that the ship lacks an avoidance system and is not optimized for unsafe zone operation, so fly carefully if you choose to do so. The ship has a functional, and not at all aesthetical, building philosophy, sporting 4 redundant wings, each with it's own cable-less 6x ducting redundancy. This contrasted with a very compact core allows for the pilot to blow up with the ship before repairs are needed, making the BBQWing the first ever repair-free™ ship*. This craft was created with the intention of offering 3 models for any customer to find one to match their gameplay style, and deliver exceptional performance to boot The 3 models are P-retty, E-fficiency and M-ining/military) (M model coming soon)! P model purchases include the E versions (E2 and E3) as a bonus, and can upgrade later to the M model for only 500,000 more! This is the P model, which is short for Pretty Plates! The target customer of this version is for players who do not care about pure stats, and want a nice looking ship that can still do it's job! This is perfect for running hauling runs with your mates to markka and killing time out and about in the belts! She is a bit on the chunky side, but due to her T3 propulsion and maneuver thrusters she is just as responsive as lighter craft! This also enables her to withstand assault for a couple seconds more than the E model, giving you time to react to the threat! All models include the new 2.0 system of Asteroid avoidance, which has been updated to handle more edge cases, and fit onto one chip, whilst maintaining the same .6-.8 detection time of previous iterations! It will automatically cut throttle, hit the breaks and strafe away from the threat. Afterwards it will resume it's previous thrust, so you don't have to manually interact with it! But that is not all the protection you have! A 1 meter gapped and plated grille also defends your precious bits from the cold, hard, uncaring rocks, so anything your AA misses, it will catch for you! It also doubles up as a shroud to cover up the ugly look of hundreds of rangefinder beams. Also in the P model is a live editing YOLOL work station, and crew accessible controls , allowing your crew (or yourself, the AA is pretty good) to walk around the ship and do more than stare at the clouds ahead. The bifurcating generator doors for the front and rear bay separate the exploding bits from the crew, reducing the chance of accidentally blowing yourself up with misclicks. Repairability was also considered, so engine clusters and the front rangefinders are all able to be accessed from behind the grille of the ship, and the cargolock is perfect for bringing spares along. All models include Cargolock frame to haul items and spare parts to where they need to go, all 3 crafting benches and ISAN navigation waypoint system, which can be operated from both the pilot seat and cabin. An avoid counting system lets you know how much frustration you have avoided while AFK, as well as blinking lights and sounds while the AA is avoiding if you are nearby so you can watch it go! A warp core is included by default, but can be stripped before printing your ship for additional space, which you can cram more ore crates, fuelrods, prop, a cargolock or more into! Blueprint Files will be delivered in a .rar file so you can choose which models and version to build, as well as a bundled user guide .txt so you can have common questions answered! This model's speeds as measured by transponder hide settings are as follows: --Dry speed is ~135 m/s with 920 meter stopping distance. --wet (14,000) speed is ~110 m/s with 650m stopping distance --wet (24,600) speed is ~92 m/s with 550m stopping distance 5893 km Rod range, 36 gen units, 12 chambers w/ t1 enhancers. 24 backup rods 1801 km propellent range with 9 large prop tanks. More can be added in the access halls/warpcore room if you need more range w/o a pit stop.
