The Rocker is an asteroid hauling ship. It is designed to be used in the safe zone and haul small asteroids. It uses a tractor beam to position asteroids into five compartments of cargo lock beams in a circular pattern. The DAMk4P is a tried and true workhorse. This function first ship has proven sturdy and reliable in the harshest conditions. They have been taken all over the universe: Elysium, Szellem, Alstel, Neso, Chemosh, Kumi, and more. From Elysium deathzones to wrangling asteroids in belts where you and the rocks are fighting gravity, this ship has seen it all. That being said, this is an old model. [The latest edition is the DAMk5P.](https://sb-creators.org/makers/Thaccus/ship/DAMk5P) ## Software Features include: - Asteroid Avoidance: Single line (0.2s response time) code with prioritization should two opposing sides detect, feel free to grill me on this as safety is my number one concern. - Approach: DarkyShadow's profiled motion approach script. By far the most reliable approach I have encountered. - Waypoints: 20 waypoint storage with a manual edit progress bar and copy/paste-able strings to pass to/from your friends quickly. - Autopilot: Originally based on FixerID's autopilot system, all you have to do is load a waypoint from your list and hit the Nav button. The ship goes there. - Galactic Alignment: Aligns you to Z+ forward Y+ up in case you want to go precisely forward into the belt. Also comes with alignment vector progress bars so that you can manually align to whatever orientation you like. - Compass: Firestarr99's legendary bubble compass on a text panel. It's a home run and everyone who has seen it has loved the visual feedback of where their waypoints are. - Scanning: New rock who dis? - Laser charging on fire: Just in case you forget to turn them on or get surprised, the ship automatically makes sure the lasers are charging if you try to fire. - Automatic AAS on Cruise and Cruise cancel on full brake - Speedometer: MoriWatari's CargoLock frame speedometer. Reliable and accurate. - All flight controlling software is built on a human priority control system so that you always have the final say. The ship can control the levers, but you can always override the ship just by using your normal keys. When you let go, the ship will resume any automated control. - High density memory backup fields for button states: 8 memory chips worth of fields for less than the mass of one chip and its lightest chip slot. The always-on pointing lasers also double as a visual indicator of both asteroid size and distance. (note: Rangefinders do not show for those viewing the ship in Potato LOD. Pirates can't see them unless they are super close) - Dual FCU/MFC stacks for increased fuel efficiency - 99% ducted connection with crate redundancy. Very Few pipes on the whole ship and wires primarily on the rangefinder cage for easy repair. - All custom bolted with a strength factor of 42.069 for the memes. - Hidden bolt, high visibility dash board and cockpit layout. - Easy Access service tunnel to get through the interior of the ship. - Rotationally aligned yolol chips and fuelrod spares: No mucking about with orientation, just put the thing in the spot and get on with your life. - Refuel point for easy prop tank refilling in the field. - Passenger seat with easy access to the reverse lever for unforeseen circumstances. - Scalable modular design. Add or remove rings to fit your needs. I like this configuration best but, I'm not your dad, do what you want. In testing this ship has flown well over 40 hours without touching the controls (or an asteroid of course) on automated flights out to ISAN limit and back to prove to myself and now you that this is a highly robust automated flight platform. In practice, this ship has been used everyday for months. Thank you to everyone who has tested this ship, and a special thanks to Sinsidious for his exceptional dedication to the testing and development of this craft. Any purchasers who provide feedback that gets included into the ship get their choice of several rewards scaling with value of the input(including unadvertised BP's). This is the Silure, a heavy duty miner / blockade runner It boasts 700 crates and is FAST : 150m/s empty and 139m/s when loaded with Lukium ( 27'000kg per crate ) The main goal of this ship is to be a ship that is going to allow you to mine in the most hostile of places. Those pirates waiting for you at the gate are in for a very very bad surprise It's main features are : - a heavy duty / mouse aiming defense system made of 14 autocanons + designators ( the red allows you to see them even on Elysium's belt ) - autopilot : set the waypoint, sit back and let the ship go by itself do it's destination autonomously ( uses a combination of Kompass / ISAN / Waypoint system / custom code ). The autopilot uses the AAS so as long as you are within ISAN range you can use it wherever - custom ground avoidance system - custom - good - AAS ( manages priorities for the top / bottom and left / right to prevent collisions on numerous and / or big objects ) - custom scanner that is fast, does not flash, can scan up to 8 different materials per object and does not require you to press 20 buttons+ to get it to work - custom warning system for generators / battery / radiators / propellant - advanced autonomy calculator ( the calculator gives the times but also the distance you can travel before having to refill the fuel and / or the rods ) - good range ( 2400 km approximatively but depends on how you use the ship => this information is given by the autonomy calculator ) - spare rods included in the BP - multiple different laser patterns for different use cases. 3 fixed and 2 that move and that are customisable without using the YOLOL ( configuration through memory chip ) - very very good manoeuvrability and top / down movements - very good reverse speed - fast travel included - 2 completelly fonctionnal cockpits to suit your needs / have redundancy - it looks cool ! 😁 Please note that unlike the Pangasius, the Silure puts a heavy emphasis on going through zones that are made dangerous due to players and is equiped adequatly to deal with them ^^ What to chat about it ? Basic script for current Fuel/Prop times. Miner has 4 fixed mining lasers, 1 collector and 1 mat scanner using Happytriggers advanced scanner yolo. Requires a repair hall to operate, it is best used between dev stations and your own with hangers. //Design// Back in the "good old days" before cap ships, flying through the gate could be dangerous. While this is less of a issue these days, for newer players without cap ships looking to mine in Ely they need to pass the iconic chokepoint. Should piracy ever return to its former glory, this hauler and miner serve to help start out in spite of the danger. A new player can grind mats/credits in SZ and build a small fleet of these haulers/miners to prevent being stone aged trying to set up on Ely. I personally recommend setting a station in the Ely belt and building a small hanger to refill and repair the ships. While not meta tanked, the ship has a generous 2 layer char firewall at the rear, and a char cockpit shield, meant to make easy crit hits a little less easy. These ships are also ideal for individuals and corps to operate out of dev stations like moon city and arma. The ship can take off at 10% gens, making it possible to leave you location very rapidly from spawning the ship. T1 fuel rods are not as economic as T2, but T1 can be sustained with local nhurgite, where as T2 requires exorium to be hauled out for refills. Combined with a SZ CLF hauler to generate credits, a new player can easily fund trips to the Ely belt, and can mine the materials for better ships and there own cap ship in time.

Skill Level - **Medium-Advanced** This is designed primarily for DZ hauling which means minimal beams to reduce the impact of asteroids and bouncing. This is still an amazing SZ Hauler with lots of SZ Features! Includes the following **Automatic Gen script:** To help balance power between traveling and mining. Note, before leaving your mining area you should enable 100% Generators and shut off AutoLocking. **x3 10x20M CargoLocks with Independent AutoLocking:** You can slowly fly up to any astroid in turtle mode and let the laser gates automatically open and close your cargo locks without the need to use your button! Also includes manual; locking mode **Note** Some piloting skill is needed to shift cargo loads from front to back of the ship. Working on better AutoGate scripts for future iterations. Updates are always free. You will need to shut off AutoGate momentarily while shifting loads. **Note** Autolocking should only be used traveling speeds below 10ms to avoid range finders drifting into the CargoLocks. **2 Flight decks:** one traditional forward deck and one Rear deck to make navigating astroids a lot easier! **Retractable Centering Laser:** To help guide rocks into your cargo locks easier! can be retracted for when you are in DZ flying. *due to recent updates, hinges are a bit glitchy so you may need to manually turn on the laser.* **Retractable Astroide gates:** These will help to keep asteroids within your cargo locks within the save zone only! Enough Power for 4 massive hauling trips 100km into the belt if you use your energy right and haul the right roids. Should net roughly 1.5+ mil an hour if you are a skilled and quick pilot. otherwise every 2 hours. The ship is **150ms Empty and 90ms Full** x3 Cargo Locks Hauling roughly 6-8 rocks per lock. **Note:** *I have had difficulty finding T10s to test with recently so I have not tested for that size of roid. I consider this to be a midrange hauler that can get to point 2 or 3 into the belt for quick and effecent hauls. You can scoop quickly spending less than 15 mins mining for rock and haul back. The Mk2 Xothian is the progenitor to the 4 railgun Cthulhu used in the 3v3 tournament, using a staggered rail charge system to pack double the rails for its gen set up, 1k weight was the goal so that the ship qualified for Kais 3v3 tournament. Estir is the 3k tournament variant, with materials min-maxed for the weight limit of 1000 tons, 143ms at 60 fps, this is provided for any future tournaments that Kai hosts. //Download// https://github.com/Open-Source-Armada/OSA-Xothian-Mk2 //Specs// 2 railguns with a staggered charge system. Shoot_1+ and Shoot_2+ are your triggers, bind these to your weapon hotkey (space by default). Sensitivity settings are adjustable from a yolo chip located in front of the pilot seat, this chip only adjusts your sense settings and is not vital to the operation of the aim system, you can use the U-tool save feature to save your sense settings to the ship post print. CenterSensePlus and CenterSenseMinus is your standard sensitivity, Adjust both to your preferred flying sensitivity. AimMax- and AimMin- is your Aim hotkey, Bind both to the same keybind, this will lower your sensitivity, Adjust MinSensePlus and MinSenseMinus to change Aim sensitivity. AimMax+ and AimMin+ is your Boost hotkey, Bind both to the same hotkey, this will raise your sensitivity, Adjust MaxSensePlus and MaxSenseMinus to change Boost sensitivity. Ship is set to both fly and aim at a smooth sensitivity (tune to your taste), Aim keybind lowers the limits for sniping, Boost keybind removes these limits allowing for faster pitch/yaw. Armoured using known methods of meta plating, including big plate health, voxel armour, segmented and layered plating and plasma/rail sacrifice plates. Materials and components are on the high end, i leave it to the user to reduces cost to your tastes. 1035656.25 kg in weight, 142ms at 60fps. 1 small prop tanks for 1 million prop, 30 mins estimated flight time. 2 T3 fuel chamber, 6 T3 generators, 4 T3 enhancers 1 hour 20 mins estimated fight time.
