Latest Migo redesigned to be a true micro fighter, under 400 tons and made of accessible Eos mats. This new model of the Migo has returned to its roots, using 2 copies of the largest plate, then form fitting the ships internals into these plates for a compact, high HP micro fighter. It is also overgunned with 4 autos to give it a chance of delivering a fatal hit, and to overpower other ultra light fighters. Micro fighters generally can not circle fight with the majority of ships, so the Mk5 utilises a more jousty, evasive strategy to make use of the ships high speed and small size. Perfect ship for infantry bombardment, swarm tactics and a intro ship for pilots starting out. Shoot_1+ and Shoot_2+ are your triggers, bind these to your weapon hotkey (space by default). LaunchMissile+ and LaunchTube+ are your missile triggers, bind both to the same key, this system uses no yolo and is a simple way to cycle and launch missile tubes. Rapidfire button switches between staggered fire (gun 2 will stagger behind gun 1 creating a machine gun effect) and alpha strike (both guns fire together). Sensitivity settings are adjustable from a yolo chip located in the cockpit, this chip only adjusts your sense settings and is not vital to the operation of the aim system, you can use the U-tool save feature to save your sense settings to the ship post print. CenterSensePlus and CenterSenseMinus is your standard sensitivity, Adjust both to your preferred flying sensitivity. AimMax- and AimMin- is your Aim hotkey, Bind both to the same keybind, this will lower your sensitivity, Adjust MinSensePlus and MinSenseMinus to change Aim sensitivity. AimMax+ and AimMin+ is your Boost hotkey, Bind both to the same hotkey, this will raise your sensitivity, Adjust MaxSensePlus and MaxSenseMinus to change Boost sensitivity. Ship is set to both fly and aim at a smooth sensitivity (tune to your taste), Aim keybind lowers the limits for sniping, Boost keybind removes these limits allowing for faster pitch/yaw. Armoured using known methods of meta plating, including big plate health, voxel armour, segmented and layered plating. Materials and components are on the low end, Incredibly cheap, still recommended to craft the guns to fully lower the print cost. Comes in 4 auto/4 auto 4 missile launchers. 357877.469 kg in weight, 145ms at 60fps. 1 small prop tanks for 1 million prop, 1 hour 40 mins estimated flight time. 1 T1 fuel chamber, 1 T1 generator, 3 T1 enhancers 2 hour 40 mins estimated fight time. (SHIP IS CURRENTLY UNDERGOING TESTING WITH BUGFIXES AND HEAT MECHANIC) Hello everyone, First off, thank you to everyone in the community who has helped me with all the questions here and there. There is a lot to know and learn in this game and I would not have completed this ship without the communities help! This is the 4th iteration of the original ship that I started with. It has 774 Solar Panel's that I have seen peak over 17,000 which is around 13.6 free generator's and no added heat! I have been mining at the Moon with this ship and have been mining purely off solar, and never touch the fuel rods. Obviously this is circumstantial, but its been my experience playing and flying this ship for the past two weeks. I have been out mining with it in Zone5 before this iteration and it was able to do over 2200km without needing to refil propellant. With this current iteration, I have made several modifications to it. Updated Asteroid Approaching so you can point at an Asteroid and have the ship take you to it safely with visual indicators Upgraded all Generators and Fuel Chambers from T2 to T3. Added additional coverage on Enhancers for heat reduction and fuel rod efficiency. Added 4 additional Robotic mining arms that retract/extend from within the body of the ship. Added additional range finders to blind spots I found by smashing into asteroids. Updated the ISAN to v4 which supports 15 Waypoints "I know v5 is out, but I personally hardily use it." Refined the Status screen to show errors, warp class, and status on mining bay doors opened or closed. Added the 'Wiggle' system, which makes the mining arms wiggle :) "You can turn this off to force the lasers to converge for manual use" Added safety features to ensure mining arms do not activate from within the belly of the ship when its retracted. Refined the efficiency of the ship further. Added laser velocity control "how fast it moves side to side" So what is this ship and why is it called the Drake? For those that have played Star Citizen, you will know Drake. Drake makes solid ships that well, don't look the best! It may not look like an Origin ship, but man is it functional. With previous versions of this ship I have smacked head on into asteroids with the Plasma's engaged going around 130m/s at the time "speed depends on what you are hauling" and the worst that happened was I lost a solar panel. This ship has been very good to me, and it is capable of getting out there several thousands of Kilometers. The DAMK5P is the latest edition of my everyday driver and a demonstration of the tools that the [NavSuite](https://github.com/Thaccus/Starbase-Nav-Suite) can provide. This function first ship has proven sturdy and reliable in the harshest conditions. They have been taken all over the universe: Elysium, Szellem, Alstel, Neso, Chemosh, Kumi, and more. From Elysium deathzones to wrangling asteroids in belts where you and the rocks are fighting gravity, this ship has seen it all. ## Software Features include: - Asteroid Avoidance: 0.2s response time code with prioritization should two opposing sides detect. It also comes with strafe arrest integration so that you stop drifting laterally after you are out of the way of the rocks. Feel free to grill me on this as safety is my number one concern. - Inertial Navigation: Ever want coordinates outside of the transmitter ranges? Want to be able to go straight back to zone 3 in a far moon belt without fuss? This ship does that. - Strafe Arrest: Does drifting laterally when you turn your ship while moving at max speed make you nervous? Worry no more, strafe arrest will quickly slow all lateral movement while maintaining forward speed. - ESTOP: How many other ships can park in gravity? This ship can do not only that, but also come to a full stop automatically regardless of your facing/velocity at the press of a button. - Vectored Speedometer: Basic speedometers are great, but this ship can tell you how fast you are moving in each ship relative axis individually as well. - Autopilot: Originally based on FixerID's autopilot system. Load a waypoint from your list and hit the Nav button. The ship goes there. - Approach: DarkyShadow's profiled motion approach script. By far the most reliable approach I have encountered. - Waypoints: 20 waypoint storage with a manual edit progress bar and copy/paste-able strings to pass to/from your friends quickly. - Galactic Alignment: Aligns you to Z+ forward Y+ up in case you want to go precisely forward into the belt. - Compass: Firestarr99's bubble compass on a text panel. - Scanning: New rock who dis? - Laser charging on fire: Just in case you forget to turn them on or get surprised, the ship automatically makes sure the lasers are charging if you try to fire. - All flight controlling software is built on a human priority control system so that you always have the final say. The ship can control the levers, but you can always override the ship just by using your normal keys. When you let go, the ship will resume any automated control. ## Hardware features include: - Four converged(500m) laser cannons, just in case you need to speak the local language. - The ability to go 150m/s with most full loads. 140m/s if you have a load full of Lukium. This thing is literally covered in thrusters. - Converging rangefinders to cover the high visibility cockpit without getting in the way. The always-on pointing lasers also double as a visual indicator of both asteroid size and distance. (note: Rangefinders do not show for those viewing the ship in Potato LOD. Pirates can't see them unless they are super close) - Laser Designator Translation Sensor for vectored speed and a Speedometer placed on a CoM so balanced that it doesn't move more than 1cm when the ship is loaded. - Dual FCU/MFC stacks for increased fuel efficiency. - 99% ducted connection with crate redundancy. Very Few pipes on the whole ship. Those wires that exist are primarily on the rangefinder cage for easy repair. - All custom bolted with an unladen strength factor of 42.069 for the memes. - Hidden bolt, high visibility dash board and cockpit layout. - Easy Access service tunnel to get through the interior of the ship. - Rotationally aligned yolol chips and fuel rod spares: No mucking about with orientation, just put the thing in the spot and get on with your life. Yolol is facing away from the cockpit for that little extra frame-rate. - Refuel point for easy prop tank refilling in the field. - Passenger seat with easy access to the reverse lever for unforeseen circumstances. - Scalable modular design. Add or remove rings to fit your needs. I like this configuration best but, I'm not your dad, do what you want. In testing the original ship flew well over 40 hours without touching the controls (or an asteroid of course) on automated flights out to ISAN limit and back to prove to myself and now you that this is a highly robust automated flight platform. Current version has been used everyday for about 6 months and all versions have a usage lifetime measured in years. Any purchasers who provide feedback that gets included into the ship get rewards scaling with value of the input(including unadvertised BP's and beta testing for future models). All code is available for review in the link at the top of the page as I believe any safety system worth its salt should stand up to public inquiry. Test flights upon request. The Rocker is an asteroid hauling ship. It is designed to be used in the safe zone and haul small asteroids. It uses a tractor beam to position asteroids into five compartments of cargo lock beams in a circular pattern. The Sower is a starter ship designed to only require safe zone ore to build. It is quite fast and cheap, and with 36 crates, it makes a decent ship to use to help with the grind towards a more advanced ship. The blueprint is provided for free. La Citerne is a mining ship adapted for Elysium (the first moon). The ship is equipped with heavy armor with a basic armament of 4 auto cannons. Rhincodon MK5 Cargo Master is for all things hauling! From small rocks to massive ship salvage! Skill Level - **Medium-Advanced** This is designed primarily for DZ hauling which means minimal beams to reduce the impact of asteroids and bouncing. This is still an amazing SZ Hauler with lots of SZ Features! Includes the following **Automatic Gen script:** To help balance power between traveling and mining. Note, before leaving your mining area you should enable 100% Generators and shut off AutoLocking. **x3 10x20M CargoLocks with Independent AutoLocking:** You can slowly fly up to any astroid in turtle mode and let the laser gates automatically open and close your cargo locks without the need to use your button! Also includes manual; locking mode **Note** Some piloting skill is needed to shift cargo loads from front to back of the ship. Working on better AutoGate scripts for future iterations. Updates are always free. You will need to shut off AutoGate momentarily while shifting loads. **Note** Autolocking should only be used traveling speeds below 10ms to avoid range finders drifting into the CargoLocks. **2 Flight decks:** one traditional forward deck and one Rear deck to make navigating astroids a lot easier! **Retractable Centering Laser:** To help guide rocks into your cargo locks easier! can be retracted for when you are in DZ flying. *due to recent updates, hinges are a bit glitchy so you may need to manually turn on the laser.* **Retractable Astroide gates:** These will help to keep asteroids within your cargo locks within the save zone only! Enough Power for 4 massive hauling trips 100km into the belt if you use your energy right and haul the right roids. Should net roughly 1.5+ mil an hour if you are a skilled and quick pilot. otherwise every 2 hours. The ship is **150ms Empty and 90ms Full** x3 Cargo Locks Hauling roughly 6-8 rocks per lock. **Note:** *I have had difficulty finding T10s to test with recently so I have not tested for that size of roid. I consider this to be a midrange hauler that can get to point 2 or 3 into the belt for quick and effecent hauls. You can scoop quickly spending less than 15 mins mining for rock and haul back. The latest version of OSA's 8 gun fighter, remade into a 1k light fighter. The Mk4 Yith is the next iteration of my main fighter, remade from the ground up to be in a lower weight class of ship, while still retaining the same firepower, 1k weight was the goal so that the ship qualified for Kais 3v3 tournament. Ln'eta is the 3k tournament variants, with materials min-maxed for the weight limit of 1000 tons, 144ms at 60 fps, it uses more corrium which is not ideal for live, this is provided for any future tournaments that Kai hosts. //Download// https://github.com/Open-Source-Armada/OSA-Yith-Mk4 //Specs// 8 mounted weapons with a staggered fire trigger system. Shoot_1+ and Shoot_2+ are your triggers, bind these to your weapon hotkey (space by default). Rapidfire button switches between staggered fire (gun 2 will stagger behind gun 1 creating a machine gun effect) and alpha strike (both guns fire together). Sensitivity settings are adjustable from a yolo chip located on the back of the ship, this chip only adjusts your sense settings and is not vital to the operation of the aim system, you can use the U-tool save feature to save your sense settings to the ship post print. CenterSensePlus and CenterSenseMinus is your standard sensitivity, Adjust both to your preferred flying sensitivity. AimMax- and AimMin- is your Aim hotkey, Bind both to the same keybind, this will lower your sensitivity, Adjust MinSensePlus and MinSenseMinus to change Aim sensitivity. AimMax+ and AimMin+ is your Boost hotkey, Bind both to the same hotkey, this will raise your sensitivity, Adjust MaxSensePlus and MaxSenseMinus to change Boost sensitivity. Ship is set to both fly and aim at a smooth sensitivity (tune to your taste), Aim keybind lowers the limits for sniping, Boost keybind removes these limits allowing for faster pitch/yaw. Armoured using known methods of meta plating, including big plate health, voxel armour, segmented and layered plating and plasma/rail sacrifice plates. Materials and components are on the high end, i leave it to the user to reduces cost to your tastes. Comes in 4 auto/4 laser and 4 auto/4 plasma. 1039562.81 kg in weight, 142ms at 60fps. 1 small prop tanks for 1 million prop, 30 mins estimated flight time. 2 T3 fuel chamber, 6 T3 generators, 2 T1 enhancers, 2 T3 enhancers 1 hour 20 mins estimated fight time. Basic script for current Fuel/Prop times. Uses premium FCU, no reverse, Roll_L and Roll_R are your keybinds for roll. Entry is through a small gap above the cockpit.
