A cheap well armoured tripod ship, built to provide close air support to infantry, is a cheaper PvP option than most fighters. //Download// https://github.com/Open-Source-Armada/OSA-Shantak-Mk1 //Specs// Turret turntable for a tripod gun of choice, can be rotated 90 degrees left or right, buttons can be used using Tab + Mouse cursor while on the turret. Ship has enough power gen to fire any tripod continuously. BoostMin and BoostMax act as a aim keybind without yolo (yolo is avoided where possible due to the 0.2 delay) these should ALWAYS be bound to the same key. Ship is set to both fly and aim at a smooth sensitivity (tune to your taste), Boost keybind removes these limits allowing for faster pitch/yaw. This can be altered to be the more common method of aiming, having higher sense as standard, and having the ships pitch/yaw slow down for aiming. (Swap the BoostMin/BoostMax Off values with its On values, remember to set it in the pitch/yaw lever fields too) Armoured using known methods of meta plating, including big plate health, voxel armour and segmented and layered plating. Its primarily plated using char across the ship, alloys are on the side/rear armour. 145 m/s max speed using T2 thrusters, 141 with tripod + gunner. 964847.812 kg in weight. Attacking the ground in a typical meta fighter is far from ideal, where as a tripod ship can get closer and deploy fire on infantry. These ships often double as scouts and troop transport. The intent with this ship is to perform a constant pylon turn around the target area, while the gunner shoots to the side at infantry. Done right, the ship is never stationary for an easy hit with explosives, and the gunner is afforded a clear sight on the ground and horizon at all times. During live testing at the loot events, not one was shot down by infantry, and only a few were lost to fighters. When engaged by a fighter, you are at a disadvantage. To engage, perform a pylon turn as usual, keeping your speed as high as possible while your gunner fires.

But has fewer crates than its competitors, knowing that the E2 is coming I anticipate the drop in the price of its BP, from 15M it goes to 8M. The P1 will be offered in the bundle. The M1 is the ship that allowed me to have all the others! It remains very efficient and autonomous, practical for predicting alloys while mining. With his big brothers above him he no longer sells. It's a shame because it remains very good and as proof I kept my 3 M1s and I still use them! Requires a repair hall to operate, it is best used between dev stations and your own with hangers. //Design// Built for speed, and to last as long as humanly possible under fire while being pursued. Two 20 ring plasma thrusters haul 800 crates, 2 oni plated power nacelles with over double the power gen needed to fly and double the expected amount of prop spread across the hull in separate prop nacelles. This redundancy and armour buys you time to escape harmful situations should any jealous pirates try to "salvage" your hauler and cargo. However no cargo ship can survive attack forever, but any attacker must also deal with the high speed this hauler travels at, with no speed loss for all ore/alloy out of gravity, and only goes 2 m/s under max speed in gravity carrying exutium alloy. To add further security, the high weight capacity and power gen allows for a more liberal use of tripods should you have the players to act as gunners, meaning an attacker must also face return fire. Because of the max speed, the pursuing ships must also be max speed, limiting the ship in size making it killable by tripods, or expensive making the attacker invest more capital to attack you. But finally if all this fails, and the ship is brought to a standstill, all explosive components are placed away from the cargo, ensuring that possible recovery of the ship/cargo is possible. Unlike some who prefer to deny the pirate the chance at cargo, I prefer to leave it intact, so that I may attempt to recover it myself, and engage in further PvP. Due to the size of the ship, any attacker will have to commit time and resources to recover it or transfer the cargo away, giving you the chance to turn the tables. As a final added bonus, the ship can take off the moment the plasma has finished charging, having enough gens and battery's to launch the moment you need too, some fighters can not even gen fast enough to pursue if both are spawned at the same time.
